BRINGING OUR STORIES TO LIFE THROUGH ANIMATION

St Mary's and St Michael School worked together with the HEC Global Learning Centre and the CLC to encourage pupils in story writing and developing  speaking and listening skills.
Students, from lower KS2, were encouraged to use their mother tongues in the storytelling and voice-overs in their animations.
English subtitles made the stories accessible to all students.
This is their work, in their own words:

Animal Trouble
"It tells the story of an African Princess and the Elephant that rescues her"

Hungry Crocodile
"This is the film about a hungry crocodile that tries many tricks to try and eat the school children"

Skateboard Diva
"We tell the story of a bully who realises how hurtful he was and then changes his way"

The Beach Disaster
"How a lovely day at the beach turns into a disaster but a lifeguard saves the day"
