| Gorsefield is a
rural study centre. It is owned by Tower Hamlets. Pupils from
that area go there to learn about the country side. It is
set in 7 acres of grounds covered by grass, trees, meadows,
ponds, play areas and lots of open space.

This is one of the bedrooms in Gorsefield.

There are 5 bedrooms with bunk beds, beside cabinets, chest
of drawers and wardrobes.
Each room has it's own sink for washing and brushing teeth. |

Enjoy mealtimes with your friends.
|
Mealtimes are an important part of the day it happens three
times a day .
For breakfast cereal is nomally served with toast and tea.
At Lunchtime you can have salad, chips, pasties and pasta.You
can also have icecream, chocolate mouse, and sometimes cake.
Dinner is usually something hot such as pizza or cheesy pasta.

| The famous mudslide. |
No matter what the weather you always go outside. Gorsefield
has a famous MUD SLIDE.
Don't forget your warm clothes but Gorsefield supplies waterproofs
and wellies.

Another highlight about Gorsefield is the teamwork and co-operation
skills that you learn, for example, the bridge building activity
called "The Raging River."

Pond dipping at Gorsefield
|
Another activity that you can do in Gorsefield
is pond dipping. If you are lucky you might see the rare Great
Crested Newt.

The Adventure playground is mostly made out of wood. There
are many fun activities for example there is a pyramid wooden
climbing frame,a rocking bridge and a metal slide.
