My name is Sonia and I have found out that the rainforest
is being destroyed by these people cutting down the trees and burning
down plants to grow grass so they can feed cows.
By cutting the tress
down
they are ruining animal habitats as the trees provide shelter and food
for many of the various animals living in the rainforest. The rainforest
is being destroyed by people such as business men, loggers and ranchers.
The rainforest is
destroyed
by
huge machines which are used to flatten everything in its path and cause
maximum damage in the process. People need to remember the rainforest
are the lungs of the world – by cutting them down you are not only
killing animals you are killing humans too. The animals in the rainforest
should be allowed to run around without fear

My name is Sharif I worked with Sonia. We found out that the ranchers
cut down the rainforest and grow grass for cows, they then sell the meat
to fast food restaurants. BUT the ground became infertile (not good)
after 4 years. So the ranchers had to cut down more rainforests and this
happens every 3 or 4 years. Please support the rainforest, and if you
are wondering why I should save the rainforest it’s just a bunch
of trees think about what you can get millions of there’s cocoa,
coffee, chocolate, coconuts, medicines and herbs and other things. And
you might think about yeah if I cut them I bet I can still get the same
things but when you cut the tree are you thinking about the animals who
live in trees you would be ruining their habitat. And if you do cut the
trees down then we wont have and oxygen to breath and you are not only
killing the animals YOU ARE KILLING YOURSELF!!`

Hi my name is Margarita and this is my daughter Maria and friend and
neighbour Pepe. We are very worried about what is happening to our
beautiful rainforest
home. In fact we are devastated….. Let us tell you why. Did you know
our home is being damaged by you greedy business people- all you want is money,
money, money. You loggers are cutting down trees in our forest that give us
food and shelter. Selfish people should think about what they are doing and
the effect their behaviour has on the world. Many people use huge machines
that flatten everything in their path so that massive areas are destroyed.
This destroys the homes of many animals, the rainforests are the lungs of the
world and when you cut the trees you are not only killing us but you are killing
the animals and yourself. They own huge great areas of the rainforest and are
always being damaged by the bad people!! So please save the rainforest!!
