Children from Stepney Greencoats, & Sir William Burrough Schools are very excited to be part of a project with "Stitches in Time" and the Museum of Docklands.	Sketching Nonsuch Manor on the Tudor London Bridge
Sketching Victorian Artifacts	The Museum has asked them to create a tapestry to hang in their Entrance hall. Children from the schools, along with parents, a local women’s group, Elders from Locksley and Stepney, with artists from Stitches in Time, visited the museum and sketched different exhibits on display.
The children spent an afternoon looking at artifacts linked to their class work. Children from Stepney Greencoats looked at Victorian artifacts and the children from Sir William Burrough looked at Tudor artifacts.	Sketching Tudor Dock-workers tools
Transfering a sketch onto material	When everyone had finished sketching their artifacts, they all went back to their schools and centres. The next stage was to begin transfering each sketch onto material.
They used carbon paper to transfer the sketch onto the material, and then outlined them in ink.	Di demonstrating how to transfer sketches
