Young Carers see what is happening in Tower Hamlets for you
Are you a Young Carer? A young carer is a child or young person under the age of eighteen, who cares for a relative or friend with a long term illness or disability.
The Young Carers and Siblings Group is for young carers aged between eight and 18 years
The project aims to:
- give young carers the opportunity to take a break from the daily responsibilities of beinga carer;
- give young carers the opportunity to mix with other young carers in a social setting
and engage in sports, leisure and social activities;
- support young carers on any issues concerning them and offer one to one
advice and guidance from the borough's core team of Personal Advisers.
