BERT THE HORRIBLE WITCH

Year 5 Cyril Jackson

The Story begins...

A long long time ago there lived three people in a small house. They were called Simi, Bert and Mrs Bert, their Mother.
One day Mrs Bert was angry because she had no money, so she shouted at Bert. Bert was really annoyed so he went to the forest where he liked to hang about. Subtan the Witch also lived in the forest, but nobody knew she lived there not even Bert. Bert walked a bit further than usual this day and saw an old dirty house with a candle in the inside the down stairs window.

Afterwards he went inside and saw a lady with a long pointed nose and spots on the end! he saw her getting a very large spoon and stirring the soup. It smelt horrible. It smelt like rotten vegetables with white banana soup. After she noticed that her door was open she shouted “whose in my house?”

Bert quickly hid behind the door so Subtan wouldn’t see him. Subtan looked around and got nearer and nearer. Finally the Witch came in front of Bert. Meanwhile Simi was looking for Bert. Subtan looked down at floor where Bert was crouching. She pulled his hair and pointed her finger at Bert.
