which has ideas for the use of photographs in class

The pack contains suggestions for oracy activities that can be carried out using the StoryTent. The activities are divided into Storytelling, Description, Drama, Music, Games and Working with non-fiction texts.

The Resource Box
(not available online - contact the Humanities Education Centre for details)

The resource box contains fiction books, non-fiction texts and photo-packs with a global dimension. The texts can be used to support the suggested activities. A list of additional recommended materials available from the Schools Library Service is also supplied in this pack.

The Log Book (supplied with the resource box)
As with storytelling StoryTents is an ongoing process of shared ideas and experiences. We actively encourage you to devise your own projects and share them with others. A logbook is supplied with the resource box in which you can record activities that you do with the tent that you would like to share with future borrowers of the tent.
