Group of People :
1. Where do you think these people have just come form?
2. What do you think the sign says that is half shown in the picture?
3. What do you think the two men on the left-hand side of the picture might be talking about?
4. What do you think the boy and the man on the left-hand side on the picture are looking at?
5. What do you think the man wearing the checked shirt who is bending down in might be doing?
6. Look at the people behind the group of people wearing white hat – do you think these two people are part of the group standing in the foreground of the picture? Why – Why not?
7. What do you think the man in the background wearing a suit is doing?
Woman with flowers:
1. Why do you think this woman might be carrying flowers?
2. What might she have in her bag?
3. What sort of mood do you think she is in?
4. Look at you answers to questions 1-3 and use them as a starting point for a piece of creative writing about this picture. Begin by writing about why the woman has got a bunch of flowers and develop your story from there.
Street Guy
1. How would you describe this man’s expression?
2. Look at the position of his arms – why do you think he has got his hands in this position?
3. Who do you think this man personality might be like?
1. Where do you think this man is sitting – is he inside or outside?
2. Why do you think he has blankets and a sleeping bag with him?
3. Look at then bag to the left-hand side of the man – do you think the bag belongs to him? What sort of things to do think might be in the bag?
4. What do you think it would feel like to be this man?
Business man phoning:
1. Who do you think this man might be talking to?
2. What sort of job do you think this man does? – Remember to point out things in the picture that explain you answer.
3. What is the spherical object in the bottom left hand side of the picture?
4. Why might this man have this object on his desk?
5. Does this object give you any ideas about the kind of job this man does?
6. What you think the building that the man is in side looks like from the outside?
7. Draw a picture of this building.
8. How would you describe the expression on the man’s face?
9. Do think there are other people working in this man’s office?
10. Describe how you think the rest of the room where the man is might look.
1. What is this man doing?
2. Why do you think he might be attaching this frame to a wall?
3. What you think is going go inside the frame?
4. Do you think this man is working inside or outside? - Remember to explain why.
5. Where do you think this man might be?
6. Do you think he is stand on the ground or up a ladder?
7. Print out the picture and stick it on to a piece of plain paper – then draw in the rest of the picture.
