A Review of Whitechapel Market

by Sabina, Shapla School

On the 17th of June we went to Whitechapel Market and the first impression I had was busy and lots and lots stalls. It was littered and polluted. It was very tiring and sometimes some of it was scary and terrifying. There were shops full of sarees and food.

Who is it for?

This market is for everybody; people who live near the market, tourists and children. It is not very good for people who are disabled. It is not good because the disabled people have to twirl around.

When is the market open?

It opens at 8.00 on Monday to Saturday. It closes at half past five.

How does Whitechapel Market promote itself?

They have colourful stalls. There is music playing. It is very eyecatching.

What would I do to promote Whitechapel Market?

I would make it much cleaner and make it easier for disabled people. We should make a place for people to walk on.

What I think, other people would like visiting Whitechapel Market

There are a variety of stalls selling you ALL different variety of things and there are bargains off all the items you need.

What advice people would need when coming to Whitechapel Market?

It’s very messy. There are lots of pick pockets. You should keep your bags next to you to keep them safe.
I would like to see the Market VERY VERY VERY clean. My suggestion is to hire a cleaner and pay them very good money!
