A REVIEW OF WHITECHAPEL MARKET

By SarahC, St Agnes School

My impression of the market.

When I went to Whitechaple market my first impressions were a big bag of rubbish by the traffic lights and that it was busy.

Who is it for?

The market is for everyone, tourist, children but isn't very good for disable people because there isn't much space and it is very crowded. The market enables access to all people.

Times of opening in Whitechaple market

A kind man told us the market is open from 8 am 5:30 PM Monday - Saturday. You don't have to pay to get in and you find a lot of bargains.

How the market promotes itself

The market promotes itself by having supermarkets near by, internet shops and a hospital. Having large signs, the tube station is situated in the middle of the market and they have , many bargains.

What I would do to promote the market

I would tidy the place up and lay things out neatly. I would make neat signs that stands out and advertise the market in the local newspaper. I would have a lot of bargains and shout out what bargains I have.

What I found most interesting about my visit

I found the people interesting because they are different, you can also meet different kind of people.

What I think other people would like about the market

I think people would like the market because there is a large variety of stalls and you meet interesting people. There is a lot of bargains.

The advice I would give to some one visiting the market!

The advice I would give somebody who is visiting the market would be to keep safe because it is very messy and the people who own the market take up a lot of space. I would like to see the market very clean and neat.
