For the first time ever! Tower Hamlets primary school children are going to be given the opportunity to have a voice, give their opinion and share their ideas with local government.

This is a set of prestigious and historic events for the children of Tower Hamlets organised on behalf of our Young Mayor, Uma Akhter. It will bring, for the first time, Primary school delegates from all LAPs throughout the Borough together to discuss the issues that are important for them.
The five LAP conferences will take place January-February 2010 at the Town Hall, Mulberry Place.

Olga School: "Woolworths has closed down because people were not coming and they didn't have enough money. Before them, Safeways closed down. People now have to shop somewhere else, like Asda. It makes the Roman Road a bit different."
